Henrik Blomgren is a freelance web & print designer, as well as a gamer and wannabe writer. He writes about games, his thoughts on the world and how to make his designs come to life in code. He wouldn’t call what he writes essays but rather either tutorials or simply putting down his thoughts on paper for everyone to read.
When Henrik designs websites he focuses on readability and minimalism. No Sidebars (unless client wants it) since truly, focus should be on the content of the site and sidebars while useful are distracting and unless really needed distractions are something to make as small as possible.
For print the focus is on making the flow of the advertisment is good or if a business card it should follow the brand of the client. Every project is given the same process and focus.
Games have always been a big part of Henrik´s life and after being neglected to join forces with gaming magazines he started his own, Deculture which has after a lot of iterations turned into a online blog where he writes about games, anime, manga and visual novels or the industry in it´s whole.
Henrik lives in Kalmar county, Sweden. The reason for not indulging in further details is because Henrik believes in sharing information. But there is a limit and writing out full adress is one of those limits Henrik is not going to break easily.
